Aashram for Shri Ramachandra Mission

The Shri Ramachandra Mission commissioned us to design a spiritual retreat in Shamirpet. The requirement included dormitories for the visitors, a multipurpose hall and activity center.
The Dormitory module incorporates passive solar building systems such as funnel panels and a clear storey. Funnel panels in the walls facilitates the inflow of cool air and a clear-storey with a system of louvers helps release the hot air. This keeps the space well ventilated and optimizes air circulation.
