Our Story
Established in 2014 by Mr Ramakrishna Shenoy, ARKADE design studio has a team of around 6 members with 2 Associate Architects , Junior Architects & interns. The firm, aspires to create designs which heighten user awareness and by being environmentally friendly in its design approach.
SIMPLICITY & COMPLEXITY
Our designs are simple and minimalistic, but possess a certain character that stands out through the juxtaposition of materials, light, volume and colour.
LOOK VERSUS FEEL
Architecture of a building is not about how good it looks, but how great it feels, and how well it functions. Isn’t that how we should be as human beings?
AESTHETICS
We believe in using natural materials that are climate and function responsive and weather over a period of time giving it its intrinsic quality. Our forms are simple yet playful. Dramatic yet easy to the eye, Contemporary yet grounded in the roots.
